She supposed to be a woman of religious beliefs and socially active. Her very monotonous schedule begins with a cup of tea and that clock circle completes itself twice ending with the same. She gave me a good impression of earth being round.

She then supposed to go to Satsang once finished with the house chores. After homecoming, she used to listen to the online bhajans of the same session she attended in morning! I could have understood the session in one go.
Nevertheless Such Wise words!

Her Social Life

Personally, don’t believe in this kinda social gatherings and worldly deliveries but still, I never obligated as long as she was relieved doing so. She hardly implemented any of those sayings, but that’s another issue. We all supported her in accomplishing the house chores so that she can make time for it.

She used to dress in the most stylish way possible. She used to design the sarees and extremely stylish tops to go with them, in short, a complete ethnic look with the tint of western aura.

I still can’t forget her way of carrying designer sarees with flowing pallu giving her an exotic look. Her look was always complete outside but something was less inside. She was never satisfied with the stuff she had as compared to others. I am not a saint but still, I believe the moment we start comparing ourselves with others we tend to ignore our blessings. I always appreciated and supported her (sometimes from behind the curtains!) and extended that support till her new life. See..even Life Insurance policies fail to give such an assurance.

By the way, they only support till you die not after you survive the death.

She was always very scared of the doctors and medicines. She hardly takes medicines even when she’s suffering acute pain. I still get numb thinking of the endless pain and medication she suffered during her Cancer treatment. She’s still on medication which will last for another 5 years even after the treatment.

To sum up she was a lady with big dreams (bigger than her butt!). But yet she believed in God and her religious beliefs always give her the strength to fight the odds in life.

But one should never forget ” God helps those, who help themselves!”.
